My aunt had a baby girl recently. She and my uncle had been trying to have a baby for 12 years. It was no wonder therefore that their new baby was treated like a princess. Her nursery had a round crib in her nursery. Her nursery looked so grand; her vintage round crib had a round crib bedding that made her room look so elegant.
My baby cousin’s room was bigger than the room my twin sons share. Her room had wall to wall carpet and her round crib was at the center. There was a round crib bedding in pink and lavender it made her crib looked so pretty and colorful. It was truly a bedroom fit for a little princess. She is so loved and so blessed.

When my husband and I were looking at designs for our new home, we went to several home décor stores. At one point, he wanted to buy table top fountains for our house. I didn’t see why he wanted them at first. He insisted that there was something about the sound and sight of constant running water. He said it was good fung shui. We weren’t Chinese so I wasn’t really into it. I could not understand why he wanted it so bad.
We went to so many stores in a span of eight months. I got to see more table top fountains. They started to grow on me. There was something calming about the sound of running water. It was as if I were outdoors. Table top fountains make the house seem so serene. It was a good idea after all. I just needed to find the right spot for it.

Ants, rats, termites, cockroaches and wasps are just examples of pests that exterminators will have to meet head on. Most of us have tried to get rid of rats, ants and cockroaches in various ways but nothing seems to work. In a few weeks, they are back. First we see one solitary cockroach and in a few weeks it has propagated to alarming proportions.
Maybe, it’s time to call an exterminator. Exterminators work within certain territories and a Bellevue exterminator will be in service in the Bellevue area in Seattle. What should you consider when looking for a pest exterminator? A good pest exterminator should be knowledgeable about the treatments that he will use and be able to explain them to his clients. He should have an idea of the number of treatments needed and the costs that will be entailed. Since extermination is not a one visit thing, you might want to know what warranty services he is offering after his visits.

I’m a guy’s guy. My garage is full of hand tools for every situation. I have two huge plastic containers full of wrenches, hammers, pliers and screw drivers. On one side of the wall, I have my two drills with its different size drill set, my saw, two emergency lights, and ratchet handle with 14 piece sockets. My collection started in my early twenties.
My first hand tools were a couple of wrenches, a screwdriver and a ratchet handle for my car. I also have a device to start the car just in case the battery dies. I also have a heavy duty crocodile jack. With it, I can handle most of my car problems. Then I added a floor pump, hand held pump and Allen wrenches for my bike. From there, I just started adding to my collection especially when I got married.

I generally don’t like shopping, but when I had my son last year, I just couldn’t stop going to baby stores. I kept on finding excuses to buy more and more baby stuff for him. Even today, my son is already a year old, he has a lot of clothes already but I still can’t stop buying. I even caught myself looking at a Moses basket the other day; never mind that my son was too big to fit in one already.
A Moses basket is simply a basket shaped and built to carry a baby. It was called a Moses basket because of the Bible story of how Moses’ mother had placed him in a basket as an infant. Baby Moses in his basket flowed along the river until he was rescued by the Egyptian princess. The modern Moses basket is sturdy and comes with blankets and beddings and other accessories designed to make the baby comfortable. It is also a great alternative to other baby bassinet carriers because it allows the baby to lie flat on his or her back.

Are all baby cribs made of wood? I tend to believe so as I have yet to see a crib made of other materials. I guess there are wicker bassinets for babies but that does not count because those are only for infants. They look more like decorative fixtures than a functional baby crib. I suppose the next question is why cribs are almost always made of wood.
Wood cribs do not absorb too much heat or cold, therefore it is comfortable for the baby. Can you imagine a crib made of stainless steel? The slats will be warm in the daytime and ‘cold as steel’ at night. Think of when the baby starts to crawl and move around the crib. Little bumps on wooden slats will not be too hard on his head. But imagine baby bumping into a steel bar. What a major disaster. A crib made from stainless steel will probably stay in the store for years before anybody picks it up. If ever one does.

Redecorate a room without having to worry about getting the services of professional carpenters. With minimal DIY skills, you can create a coordinated look just by picking things from off the shelves. Kids valances, decorative borders and curtain panels are there for the picking. Why, you can even buy your electric fan and furniture from the hardware in the mall. They come with a lot of know-how and service to boot.
Be prepared when you go shopping for your room re-do. Be sure that you have pertinent measurements and needless to say, bring a tape measure. If you are buying curtains know the measurements of your windows. If you need bathroom fixtures, plan on where you want to place pieces so it will not hamper door openings or be in an awkward location. It is all about planning. Knowing what you want will make your shopping a breeze.

If a dog or cat is a man’s best friend, insects are his best enemies. A lot of insecticides are invented to fight pests and insects of different kinds. But in this modern age, a more innovative way to fight these unfriendly creatures is through an electronic pest repeller. This is a more advanced pest control to drive out insects and rodents. It doesn’t only kill the unwanted crawling and flying little things, also cleans the air you breathe.
An electronic pest repeller usually has the electromagnetic, ultrasonic and ionic features. Meaning, it doesn’t only fight pests but helps the environment, too.
Repellers are best to hang into walls, ceilings, baseboards, cabinets, floors, attics, and other areas. This kind of household gadget is also designed for the pests to go directly to the source and drive them away far, far away.

I don’t have good eyesight, if the lighting is bad; I’m as blind as a bat. I need lights everywhere. Whenever I drop something and it rolls under a desk or counter, I have trouble finding seeing it. When we renovated our kitchen, the first thing I asked my husband to do was to install under counter lights. I think that these lights are very elegant and functional. They can make a kitchen look more elegant.
Now that our kitchen is finished, I am so glad I got under counter lights. Now even if the main kitchen light is off and only the under counter lights are on, I see exactly where I put the small items. I can even see the teaspoons and small items. Last night however, I decided that I would no longer put stuff o the items. We will make our counter our informal bar where we can have breakfast and lunch.

Bringing in a new look to your bathroom can be as easy as simply changing your shower curtain. As shower enclosures go, shower curtains are usually the most affordable and easy to change. They come in various materials, patterns and styles and can completely transform the look and feel of a bathroom.
If you’re shopping for a new shower curtain, consider what you need best. Shower curtains and curtain rings provide both form and function. Plastic and vinyl materials are the most waterproof. But if you want a more decorative look, you may want to go for cotton, linen or silk fabrics. Get the best of both worlds by using both a waterproof shower liner and a more attractive fabric shower curtain.
