bbq thermometer
When I’m making dinner, I’m liable to get caught up with whatever I’m doing and then forget about what’s in the oven, microwave, or on the barbeque. It stinks because most of the time once I remember, whatever I’m cooking is burned! While sometimes a timer is practical for the oven or the microwave, it’s a real pain to watch the barbeque and be cooking other dishes indoors. My husband bought me a bbq thermometer one holiday, and I kind of sneered at the idea at first. But then I realized that with it, once I knew the temperature at which all our favorite barbeque dishes became done, I could be alerted when they were ready!
Now that I’ve cooked with it for a while, I would never use the barbeque without my BBQ thermometer. I can put a couple of steaks on the grill, stick the thermometer in the middle, and then I receive an alert from the wireless receiver when the steaks are done! The best part is I can be in the kitchen and not worry about forgetting about what’s cooking on the barbeque.
