I have always had a special liking for duvet covers. I have said this before. Duvet covers are more convenient than comforters. They are easier to handle unlike comforters that are usually heavy because of all the quilting. They are also easier to keep clean.

Both comforter and duvet is used to keep a person warm. The difference is that a comforter is used only as a blanket. A duvet, aside from being a blanket can also be used as bedding. A queen comforter goes on top of traditional queen sheets on a queen sized bed. Queen duvet covers may be the only thing you need on a queen bed. Duvet is a single piece that serves the purpose of both.
