Egyptian sheets

We have read a lot of articles written about thread counts and the luxurious feel of quality beddings. It has been drummed on us that Egyptian sheets with thread count of at least 300 are the best. They speak of the vast variety in color and design. They forget to remind us that sheets get dirty and that they have to be loaded in the washer and dried every so often. Should we be talking of how to take care of our quality beddings?

The first thing we should do after buying new beddings is to check the manufacturer’s instructions on each piece. Instructions vary for each piece, so take the time to read every bit of instruction. You can either memorize these instructions or keep them posted somewhere. There are general rules to follow in the washing process. Some of these are: use a gentle cycle, less detergent than usual and a lower temperature setting.
