taper candle holders

At the end of the long and hard day, most of us just want to relax and wind down. Some people have a drink and others like to spend a few minutes in a hot tub with scented candles. Scented candles are now commonly used to add a touch of fragrance to a home. Scented candles are usually wide and cylindrical in shape. They are placed in equally wide mouthed glass holders. They are a stark contrast to long thin candles called taper candles which are placed in taper candle holders. These taper candles used to be places as a centerpiece in fine dining restaurants before the short squat candles became popular.

Taper candles are the types used in traditional candle holders. They are also commonly used in advent wreaths. Taper candle holders can come in different materials. They can be made of glass, silver or steel. They are slim and short but tall enough to fit at least a small portion of the candle to hold it steadily up.
