Holiday celebrations should never be without the lighting of candles when the evening comes. There is something peaceful about the soft glow that candles bring to any room. Choose to light scented ones perched atop beautiful wood candle holders and place them on top of a fireproof surface. These would send out wonderful aromas that will also help calm the senses.

When lighting candles, keep in mind several safety reminders to prevent accidental fires:

~An adult must always be in the room where a lighted candle is
~Blow out all candles before leaving the room or going to sleep
~Keep candles away from anything that can burn such as curtains and tablecloths
~Always use stable candle holders and place them where they will not be knocked down by pets or young children
