Atomic wall clocks

In 1930, a physics professor named Isidor Rabi of the Columbia University, started working on a technique called atomic beam magnetic resonance. After 15 years, he incorporated this technique to come up with an extremely accurate clock. In 1952, the first atomic clocks were built. Today, atomic clocks are found in many homes and establishments.

Atomic wall clocks are very precise clocks that use radio frequencies to synchronize itself with the official radio-controlled clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. They are also referred to as radio controlled clocks. They contain a relatively simple antenna that decodes radio signals to accurately keep the official time. All you need to do is set the time zone and your clock will give you the perfect time, every time.
