When my brother and his wife were building their home, they decided on a minimalist theme. They chose this theme not because they liked the minimalist style but more because they didn’t have the budget for the other styles. When we went over to see their new home, we were very impressed. Their choice of furniture was very simple yet stylish. They had modern wall clocks in every room and simple picture frames of their kids. They had gotten an interior designer who was able to put minimalist touches to their home.

What I liked best was that every room in the house was different. They appeared the same for an instant, but when you looked closely, you’ll realize how different each room was. Their eldest son’s room was painted in beige but with blue blinds, blue trashcan, blue shower curtains and had blue modern wall clocks in the bedroom and in the study area. Their younger sons’ room had beige walls, green shower curtains, green blinds, green trashcan, and green wall clocks.
