One major advantage of LED over incandescent lighting is that it provides a splash of color. This quality makes it advantageous when applied to the boring and over bearing alarm clock. We are not very friendly with alarm clocks. They intrude into our sleep. I know of some people who throw their alarm clocks on the floor in the morning.

That may be an exaggeration. But wouldn’t it be nice to wake up to a sweet ringing of the alarm clock accompanied by a splash of color announcing the time? A LED alarm clock will do just that. It will display time in a rainbow of colors. Wouldn’t that be a pleasant way to start your day?
