Choose Decorative Pieces that are also Functional
The minimalist approach has caught up with us. It is a concept that appeals to people who prefer an open and free space devoid of clutter. Having too many things around weighs you down. Think of all the organizing and cleaning that you have to do. It is enough to stress you out.
You can achieve a light and carefree mood in your home by following certain rules. Keep your decorative pieces to a minimum. Choose unique pieces that are both decorative and functional. For example, you will need a clock on your wall; make it a decorative piece. A decorative wall clock is enough to brighten up one side of your room.
