Purchase your materials and put out your tools. You will need an interior door and some paint. You will also need a hand plane, a screwdriver and a straightedge guide for circular saw. Installing interior door is easy if you know how. But even if you don’t know how, you can do it by following these basic steps:

~Remove the old door
~Mark the new door for trimming
~Cut the door down to size
~Lay out the hinge mortises
~Chisel out for the hinges
~Screw on the hinges
~Drill for and assemble the lockset
~Hang the new door
