flooring tools

Installing flooring is not as easy as it looks. Before you can even start lining up your wood flooring panels you have to make preparations that can make or break your floor installation project. First you have to apply a floor leveling compound. Then you have to install an underlay on the sub floor. You have to make sure that they are flat and level. Sanding the wood and checking for sticking nails and screws will assure level flooring.

You will definitely need some flooring tools. Flooring nailers and staplers are needed for fastening wood to the subfloors. Nail guns are used in areas that flooring nailers and staplers cannot reach. A power jack will nail down crooked boards near walls. Pull bars, strap clamps and trowels are invaluable in correcting floating floors.
