Teaching your kids their ABC’s is so much easier if they have their own childrens desks at home. Even though you can study on the kitchen table, having a desk where they could store their materials at the same time is more conducive to studying. They will be more comfortable sitting at something that is adjusted to their height.

Having a desk at home is also a good way to train them on how they should sit in school with their own school desk. Position the desk at a well lighted area, give him some materials to read or to write on and you can leave him to his work as you prepare dinner or wash the dishes. After your chores are done, you can simply go back to supervising your child’s studies.
