Bunk beds
Sometimes siblings have to share a bedroom. This is not a problem if the room is big enough to accommodate a bed for each. Sometimes, space is limited. The solution is to put in a bunk bed. Bunk beds are two beds; one placed on top of the other.
The standard arrangement is for the second bed to be put directly on top of the other. These are supported by sturdy poles and a ladder to provide convenient access for the person occupying the second level. There are other versions of the bunk bed. There is one that is arranged in an L-shape where the second level only partially overlaps with the first level. In this design, the first level is not fully covered. It can also fit into a corner of the room, saving even more space. Another version is a loft where the bed is on top while the bottom is used as a study or storage space. In this version, only one person can be accommodated. The goal of this set up is to maximize the use of space.
