decanter

Some wines contain particles or sediments that are made up of potassium bitartrate crystals. These are recommended to be filtered out before drinking as they can change the wine’s flavor. Leaving the sediment in could prevent drinkers from enjoying their beverage fully. Allow the sediment to be left behind using a decanter.

Some drinkers transfer the clear wine into a new container for serving after the sediment has settled. But some decanters enable easy pouring of wine directly into glasses. Decanters made of crystal are great to use because the clear glass displays a wine’s color to perfection. Look for a decanter with an extra-long lip to prevent fewer drips while pouring.
