We are all familiar with lamps that double as a radio. Also, decorative table lamps that are powered by solar energy. These are no longer unique features; they have been shown to be both useful and efficient. But, we surely should be using them more. They will add a new aspect to how we live our lives.

Egg lamps are special kind of table lamps. They provide a clean clear light in the shape of the perfect egg shell. Some are designed to look like eggs in a dozen egg tray. You can almost see the yellow of the yolk. This must have been the inspiration of an egg lamp developed in India. It is solar powered and portable. It is seen to be a safer version of the kerosene lamp.
