Old Fashioned and Fancy

Several years ago, a hurricane destroyed a small town in Georgia. One of the buildings that were destroyed was a church. The church had this beautiful stained glass window which had all sorts of colors and images on them. The stained glass windows broke and had to be replaced. There was also an old house in that small town which had Tiffany style lighting; these lamps looked just like the stained glass window found in the church. It wasn’t surprising therefore that when it was time to fix the church and the owner of the old house with the Tiffany style lighting offered to be in charge of the restoration of the stained glass window.

Tiffany style lighting is quite popular in the south. Several colonial style homes still have it. Most of these classic homes have a sitting room; some even have a cigar room. These two rooms usually have Tiffany style lighting. This kind of lighting makes the rooms look cozier.
