I like traveling whether by land, by sea or by air. In Europe I once took a two week bus tour. I got to stay in not so fancy hotels that didn’t have air conditioning. I also went on a bus tour in Florida for two weeks; I stayed in inns and hotels with 3 or 4 star ratings. One hotel I remember had silk flower arrangements all over its lobby.

I remember it distinctly because they looked so lovely. The lobby seemed to be filled with all these silk flower arrangements. From afar, the flower arrangements looked very real. You would not know that they were made of silk until you see them up close. I guess this was a more practical arrangement since the hotel catered to families. Families often had small kids traveling with them who would pull and play with everything in the hotel’s lobby.
